ir. CWRM (Kees) Kaffka

Over 30 years of work experience in business, government, consultancy, philanthropy and education. My goal is to inspire professionals through courses and science related events, and in that way help them to take steps in the major transitions (such as those of agriculture, nature based solutions, biobased and circularity). With the latest scientific insights from the WUR, I help them to increase the impact of their activities with which they can contribute to the realization of the UN's Sustainable Development Goals.

Besides working on international projects (Russia, Uzbekistan, North Macedonia, Bulgaria) I have extensive experience in working in rural areas of the Netherlands with various stakeholders. Throughout my career I have worked at: AEC - Russia/CIS (5 years), LTO - farmers association (8 years), DLG - the goverment agency for land & water management (5 years) and consultancy firm ARCADIS (6 years). More recently, while working as an independent consultant for non-profit organisations (6 years) I have gained experience with the philanthropic-sector.
