Dutch/Iranian civil engineer, lived and worked in Iran, Canada, Pakistan, Indonesia, Thailand and the Netherlands. International work experience in the development and humanitarian sectors includes grant, programme, team, contract and partner management in Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Malawi, Kenya, Uganda, Ghana and Tanzania. Worked extensively with range of stakeholders including UN agencies, civil society organisation, academia and donors such as UNICEF, UNOPs, World Vision, International Medical Corps, Asian Disaster Preparedness Center, Simavi, Utrecht University, Delft University, Dutch Ministry of Foreign Affairs (DGIS), USAID and SDC as well as private sector i.e. consultancy companies in oil & gas industry and construction.
