This is how we can help you
Are you looking for your (first) job or would you like to discuss your career options with a career counselor? Student Career Services can also help you after graduation. You are welcome to discuss the job market or discover what your strengths are. It is also possible to have your resume, cover letter or LinkedIn profile reviewed. And don't forget that Student Career Services regularly organizes events to meet employers! Student Career Services can help you up to one year after graduation.
Not done with learning new things yet? WUR offers many opportunities to continue learning after graduation. Discover the opportunities for Education for Professionals, such as MBAs or online courses, or get started on a MOOC (Massive Open Online Course, online courses from universities around the world).
Are you more interested in short lectures? Check out the University of the Netherlands: here inspiring scientists (also from WUR!) give short lectures on interesting and current topics in the form of videos and podcasts.
Our alumni all over the world are very important to us, which is why we have WUR Alumni Networks in many different countries, where you can find other WUR alumni and join fun activities and share knowledge together.
Want to connect with alumni from other Dutch universities? The 4TU.Alumni Network is the Dutch partnership of the technical universities. Together they organize activities for 4TU alumni all over the world under the banner of 4TU.Alumni.
University Fund Wageningen offers various awards and grants for young talents to make the first or next step in your career a little easier. For example, do you have a good idea for a content driven alumni activity? Apply for support for your initiative through the KLV-Fund. Or do you have an idea for an innovative product or service, or have you already started your own business? For young entrepreneurs with impactful or innovative ideas, University Fund Wageningen organizes the Wageningen Entrepreneurship Grant every year, a pitching competition with two prizes of €25,000 and the chance to learn a lot and build your network throughout the process.
There is a lot to keep in mind when it comes to graduating. What else is there to think of, besides keeping in touch with other alumni and the university for opportunities to gain inspiration or meet like-minded people?
