Drs. Peter Ploegsma MBA
Peter Ploegsma has been appointed as a member of the Board of Directors for the Finance, Business & Services portfolio as of November 1, 2025. Peter Ploegsma studied Public Administration at the University of Twente and completed an MBA at SDA Bocconi in Milan and London Business School.
He gained extensive experience in financial roles in the public sector. He was Financial Director at transport company RET until 2006, then CFO of UWV until 2014. In that latter position, in addition to financial restructuring, he was co-responsible for major system changes such as the introduction of the Participation Act and the amendment of the Dismissal System. From 2014, he was a member of the Board of Directors at Stichting Aafje. That organization has been Best Employer in Healthcare since 2019.
