About Dairy Campus

The Dutch dairy sector is constantly looking for more sustainable and efficient ways to produce dairy, with respect for nature and societal needs. Together with entrepreneurs, our scientists explore new applications in dairy production and processing, focusing on smart farming, biodiversity, green energy, emissions, resilience, nutrition and soil. The results generate valuable knowledge in areas such as smart grazing, efficient feeding, reducing ammonia and greenhouse gas emissions, optimal fertilization, animal- and environment-friendly housing, extending cow longevity and improving farm profitability. All to ensure that healthy and safe dairy continues to be produced in the future, with respect for people, animals and the environment.
At Dairy Campus, we provide inspiration and facilities to experiment, innovate, develop and share knowledge. Our goal is to make new information quickly available for practice. Each barn at Dairy Campus has its own research theme. Every week, we welcome visitors from all over the world and host numerous activities across various fields of expertise.
