People of Biochemistry

Dolf Weijers is the Chair of Biochemistry. His dream is to discover the secrets of the plant world. His team studies mechanisms underlying early plant development and the auxin response, as well as their evolution. During his research, he follows his curiosity to make new discoveries. Weijers: “As a scientist, you must keep on developing and reinventing yourself and your research. You must dare to tackle new questions and subjects, and adopt new methods from other research fields.”
