Interactive learning

Develop critical thinking through research-led teaching.

Colleague is planting lettuce in Vertical farm

Vertical farming

Explore high-tech production and data-driven cultivation.

Colleagues are performing research on plants in the molecular lab

Laboratory

Understand plant processes from growth to postharvest.

Thesis projects at HPP

Thesis

During your BSc or MSc thesis at HPP, you will tackle real research challenges in horticulture. As part of an active research team, you will contribute to projects in controlled environment agriculture, plant physiology, photosynthesis, and modelling. Through hands-on experimental and data-driven work, you will develop both scientific insight and practical skills. Explore available thesis projects on JobTeaser.

Internships at HPP

Internship

As part of the MSc programme, you will complete an internship outside Wageningen University, gaining hands-on experience in professional practice. You are encouraged to actively explore opportunities that match your interests. Internship vacancies can be found on Jobteaser, as well as within the WUR domain at institutes such as Wageningen Research (including Greenhouse Horticulture and Food & Biobased Research) and the Jan Ingenhousz Institute.
