Education of Rural Sociology

The Rural Sociology Group teaches courses on topics linked to rurality, food provisioning and place-based development. Within these fields of research, we offer possibilities to do a BSc- or MSc-thesis or an internship. We teach in a number of different bachelor and master programmes.
Thesis and internship
Students from MID, MRF, MFT, MCH and MDR can do their thesis and internship with RSO. More information on how to do a master thesis or internship with RSO can be found on Brightspace SPS: Thesis, Internship and research practice (for WUR students only). This Brightspace offers general information, a step-by-step guide on how to start your MSc Thesis process, supervision profiles, thesis vacancies and more.
