My research contributes to address the important question of how to design sustainable agricultural systems that ensure supply of food, and bio-based products within changing socio-economic and bio-physical environments. More specifically, I develop optimization models that are able to systematically evaluate the economic and environmental consequences of interrelated change in climate, market, policy and technology on agri-food supply chains.
