I work since 2019 at Wageningen Economic Research on food system transformations. I lead innovative research teams, provide policy advice, raise funds and coordinate large projects on issues related to food systems and their transformation processes. Besides these tasks, I am ambassador food & nutrition security and represent the institute at conferences and other public events. Recently I published a series of papers on food system resilience and issues related to food system governance.
I worked between 2000 - 2018 at the Royal Tropical Institute in various management functions. Before that I worked and lived in Africa, in Mali, Cameroun and Tanzania, where I did research and advised agricultural research institutes on their transition towards development relevant innovation.
