Biography
Gonne Beekman is leading the Blue & Green Economy team at Wageningen Social & Economic Research. This research team works on strengthening the relationship between people, nature and our economy.
With this team, we explore how transitions can take shape towards more sustainable agro-ecological systems, in the domains of biodiversity and nature, climate and water, coastal-marine systems, and within urban-rural relationships.
Before my current role I worked as researcher sustainable and inclusive value chains and impact evaluation expert.
