dr. HP (Harmen) Doekes

Harmen is Researcher and Lecturer at the Animal Breeding and Genetics group. His research is currently focused around the use of sensor technologies for tracking animal behaviour, in a project with WBVR. In addition, he is interested in the characterization and conservation of genetic diversity. Next to his responsibilities as a researcher, Harmen teaches courses related to animal breeding and wildlife conservation and is involved in various educational and communication activities.
