As a PhD Candidate in Hydrogeology and Groundwater Modeling, I investigate the hydrogeological functioning of the Bengal Basin, containing the Ganges–Brahmaputra–Meghna Delta, under changing climate conditions and anthropogenic influence. My research focuses on developing physically based numerical groundwater models to assess freshwater availability, salinity intrusion, land subsidence, and sustainable groundwater management strategies. I am particularly interested in the interactions of these processes and strategies at the system scale. I work with hydrogeological, environmental, and geospatial datasets to improve understanding of complex groundwater systems and inform climate resilience strategies.
