HM (Hamadi) Mwamlavya

I am a marine researcher with a strong foundation in marine science and a passion for understanding and protecting marine ecosystems. Trained in advanced ecological survey methodologies, I specialize in coral reef research and have extensive experience in data collection, management and analysis. I am a skilled  and experienced diver and certified PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor, seamlessly combining technical expertise with fieldwork, conducting underwater surveys and contributing to marine conservation initiatives.

In addition to coral reef studies, I have also received specialized training in marine fisheries, coastal forestry and mangrove ecology of the Western Indian Ocean, broadening their expertise across diverse marine habitats. With a commitment to advancing sustainable ocean management, I continue to explore, study, and protect the intricate ecosystems that support marine biodiversity and coastal communities.
