Studied a BSc in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology in Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (Cerdanyola del Vallès, Spain) and a MSc in Plant Biotechnology in Wageningen University. The research track always surrounded material and plant sciences, first at Laromaine's Lab (ICMAB-CSIC, Spain) and now in Willemsen's Lab (WUR, The Netherlands).
