Throughout my life I have been passionate about nature, and interested in ways to conserve and restore our natural landscapes. During my MSc Forest and Nature Conservation I specialised in forest management and ecosystem ecology of (sub)tropical landscapes. This is when I developed a keen interest in research.
Now I aim to enhance understanding of resilience of secondary tropical forests with my PhD research, hereby focusing on plant hydraulics and water fluxes.
