N (Narongrit) Luangdilok

I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering and a Master’s degree in Environmental and Water Resources Engineering from Thailand. My professional experience involves developing technologies for national Thai water management, specifically in hydro-meteorological monitoring, flood modeling, and operational early warning systems. Currently, I am pursuing a PhD focused on enhancing flood forecasting accuracy in Thailand by optimizing the initial states of hydrological models. My research involves developing localized Quantitative Precipitation Estimation (QPE) algorithms using weather radar data to address spatial rainfall variability, transitioning from lumped to distributed hydrological models, and leveraging data assimilation techniques to refine model initial conditions.
