prof.dr. RJJ (Joost) van Neerven

Joost van Neerven has been special professor of Mucosal Immunity ( at Cell Biology and Immunology, next to his affiliation with Frieslandcampina from May 2013 until september 2023. As of September 2023 he works at Cell Biology and Immunology where he studies the regulation of the mucosal immune system, especially in relation to the upper airways.  He has a special interest in the effects of food on allergy, immunity and infection.
