Het Neys-van Hoogstraten fonds heeft als doel om sociaal-economisch onderzoek naar voedselzekerheid van huishoudens en van kwetsbare groepen te bevorderen. Het gaat specifiek om onderzoek in een aantal landen in Zuid en Zuidoost Azië. Het fonds steunt alleen aanvragen voor onderzoeksfinanciering voor projecten en personen (MSc en PhD studenten en Postdocs) die verbonden zijn aan WUR.
