SAM (Sonja) Beers-de Vries, MSc

Sonja is a PhD candidate at the division of Human Nutrition and Health. She obtained both her BSc and MSc degree in Nutrition and Health at the Wageningen University and Research. During her study her interest was gained in the healthy ageing topic. In 2021, Sonja started as a PhD candidate in the MOCIA program (Maintaining Optimal Cognitive function In Ageing). This programme aims at being able to signal an increased risk of cognitive decline and to improve prevention by developing a personalised lifestyle intervention. Within this programme Sonja is involved in the multidomain lifestyle intervention FINGER-NL.
