WC (Wilma) Hazeleger

After finishing her bachelor studies in 1986, Wilma Hazeleger has worked for four years at the Laboratory of Microbiology of the University of Amsterdam. In 1990 she started on a Campylobacter project at the Laboratory of Food Microbiology of Wageningen University. During the years, she broadened her expertise to the other foodborne pathogens including viruses. Furthermore, Wilma is involved in teaching Food Microbiology in BSc- and MSc courses, is active in innovation of education and supervises BSc-, MSc-, PhD- and internship students.
