Wageningen University & Research empowers mid-career professionals and organisations to lead transformative change in food systems. Through tailor-made leadership journeys, peer networks and coaching, we strengthen the capacity to navigate complexity, build collaboration and drive sustainable, inclusive transitions.
Transforming food systems in times of conflict, uncertainty and polarisation requires capable, courageous leaders. We support change agents through tailor-made leadership learning journeys that combine systems thinking, practical tools and peer collaboration.
Participants vary from senior managers to youth leaders. They gain the skills, confidence and networks to influence policy, realign investments and lead impactful collaborations. Our programmes are co-designed with local partners and adapted to national contexts, ensuring relevance and ownership.
We also support organisations in strengthening their internal capacity to lead change. This includes coaching, organisational development and building multi-country peer networks that sustain learning and action beyond the programme.
By investing in people and institutions, we help unlock leadership potential across public, private and civil society sectors, driving transitions towards sustainable, resilient food systems.
