Otherwise

"What is needed in response to the world's polycrisis to shift towards justice, liberation, and healing in our communities and beyond? How can we sense, relate, and imagine otherwise? At OtherWise, we invite participants through creative activities to embody different ways of being and stimulate discussion to politicize topics around sustainability, justice, and social change."

Amnesty International

"Worldwide, human rights are being violated. Amnesty International investigates injustice and exposes it – this is done via press, rapports, campaigns and actions. By doing so, we put pressure on governments and companies to stop them from violating human rights and releasing prisoners of conscience. Since 2005, we want to bring the work of Amnesty International to the attention of the students of Wageningen University. We do this by organizing fun activities, writing marathons and film screenings."

Sports clubs

In and around the facilities of Sports Centre De Bongerd, a wide variety of (student) sports associations are active.

Student societies

Student societies

A study society is an organisation within your study programme. They organise all kinds of study-related activities, but also focus on leisure activities. If you become a member of a study society, you will receive practical information about your studies. You will also get to know senior students who are happy to share their experiences and tips with you.

E.S.G. Artio

"E.S.G. Artio is a group of multiple Study Associations of the Environmental Science Group at Wageningen University. These studies all have something in common: an interest in the environment, natural or human made. Even tough we all have an interest in the environment; our students look at it in different manners. To celebrate what we have in common we organize integration activities for the members of Aktief Slip, Artemis, Genius Loci, Licere, Minoa, Nitocra, Pyrus, and WSBV Sylvatica.

Another aspect to E.S.G Artio is finding common parts to our studies and building a foundation that can be used in our futures. Therefore, we also periodically organize a careerday for our students to get to know their options for their futures. For more integration between associations, we organize annually either a gala or a weekend abroad, and smaller activities throughout the years for all our students to enjoy."

Civil associations

Civic associations are for everyone: students and local residents alike. Meet each other in a relaxed atmosphere, with no obligations, just doing fun things together.

Interest organisations

Your interests as a student are represented by a number of organisations. If you become a member of a student union, you can actively participate in representing the quality of education and student facilities. You can also contact them with any questions or comments you may have about matters that concern you as a student.
