Do you have a scientific question about your product or service for aquatic animal species? Our scientists can help you find answers. In the Carus building at Wageningen campus, we conduct research into fish feed, animal welfare, marine ecology and climate change, in both fresh and salt water and both cold and warm water.

What can you do at our aquatic research facility?

Activities

Our research contributes to healthy animals with high resistance to disease. We also want to understand and manage the consequences of climate change on aquatic species. We work with a wide variety of animal species, such as sticklebacks, carp, coral, eels, cuttlefish, sole, salmon, zebrafish, sea urchins, as well as aquatic plants.

  • Subtropical unit
