Introduction

A lot of the research by Wageningen Marine Research takes place onboard research ships, owned by the Rijksrederij of the Dutch government, fellow institutes or by ourselves.

International ships

Internationally, research also takes place onboard research vessels of the institutes with which Wageningen Marine Research cooperates, such as NIOZ and the Alfred-Wegener-Institut (AWI).

On the Wadden Sea, Eems and in the Zeeuwse Delta, Wageningen Marine Research regularly uses its own ships.
