Experience the future of biobased materials for building and other applications: the Nature Building Kit allows you to explore and engage with innovative biobased materials tactilely, visually, and informatively. It supports educators, event organizers, and companies.
The Nature Building Kit – WUR Edition provides and overview of over thirty years of research on a range of biobased materials by WUR. Designed for educators, companies, and event hosts, this modular kit presents a variety of materials made from biomass, ranging from board materials, plastics, asphalt and textiles to mycelium and composites. It demonstrates the potential of high-performance biobased materials for low-carbon, sustainable applications.
Interchangeable panels feature tangible samples and QR codes to access information on the properties and production insights behind each material.
The kit can be booked for workshops, events, or educational sessions with one of our experts. It is also on display in the hall near the Biobased Products Innovation Plant in Wageningen.
