Dutch courses for staff, PhD candidates and external participants
Would you like to integrate better in the Netherland by learning Dutch? So you'll be able to speak Dutch with your colleagues, supervisor, friends or neighbours? Or can you already speak some Dutch and would you like to take your skills to the next level? We offer different courses suitable for every level.
Standard & fast tracks Dutch courses
You can choose between a standard or fast track course Dutch. Our standard track courses consist of 14 classes of 1.5 hours each. You will have class once per week. A fast track course consists of 2 classes per week, to help you achieve your desired level in a shorter time.
We offer the following Dutch courses:
- Basic Dutch 1 (standard & fast track)
- Basic Dutch 2 (standard & fast track)
- Intermediate Dutch 1 (standard & fast track)
- Intermediate Dutch 2 (standard & fast track)
- Intermediate Dutch 3 (standard & fast track)
- Advanced Dutch 1 (standard & fast track)
- Advanced Dutch 2 (standard track)
- Advanced Dutch 3 (standard track)
Free of charge for WUR employees
Thanks to the WUR Language Guideline, employees can take a Dutch course at their department's expense. Your partner may also be eligible. Find out more about the Language Guideline.
Tailor-made Dutch course
Would you prefer individual or faster lessons? Or do you have a specific goal you'd like to work on? We also offer a personalized program, fully tailored to your needs and wishes.
Intake & registration
If you'd like to take a course other than Basic Dutch 1 and haven't completed the previous level with us, a telephone intake interview is required. Send your phone number to into@wur.nl for a free intake interview.
